Plant Food: what it is & how to use it
Last reviewed July 1, 2026
What Plant Food is
Plant Food is OrganiLock's fast-acting liquid plant nutrition concentrate, used as a foliar spray or a root drench. Where Soil Food builds the soil's ecosystem over the season, Plant Food gives plants a quicker, more direct feed. It contains both quick-release nutrition to feed plants fast and slow-release nutrition to feed soil microbes over time. It is the natural liquid companion to Soil Food and completes the two-product system.
The certification note - please read
Plant Food is not OMRI Listed and not certified organic. If your growing requires an organic-certified input, use Soil Food, which is OMRI Listed. Plant Food and Soil Food do different jobs - only Soil Food carries organic certification.
Guaranteed analysis
Plant Food's guaranteed analysis is 3-5-3: 3% total nitrogen, 5% available phosphate, and 3% soluble potash.
