Product basics: how OrganiLock products work

The idea: feed the soil, feed your plants
OrganiLock is built on a simple principle - healthy soil grows healthy plants. Instead of only pushing nutrients at a plant, our products build the living soil around it: the beneficial microbes, the carbon, and the nutrition that keep soil productive season after season. Here is how the lineup fits together.
Soil Food - build the soil
Soil Food is our flagship dry amendment. Mixed into soil or top-dressed around plants, it wakes up a living microbial ecosystem that feeds your plants naturally. It is OMRI Listed for organic production, with a label-verified NPK of 4-2-1. Stored dry in a sealed container, it lasts for years.
- Before planting: mix about 1 lb per 50 sq ft into the soil.
- Top-dress: 1 to 4 tablespoons per sq ft around the base, roughly once a month or as needed.
- Pots and containers: about 7 tablespoons per gallon of soil.
See the Soil Food guide for the full details.
Plant Food - a fast, direct feed
Plant Food is a liquid concentrate (NPK 3-5-3) used as a foliar spray or root drench at 1/2 oz per gallon of water, about once a week. It gives plants a quick boost and is the natural companion to Soil Food. Please note that Plant Food is not certified organic - if you need an organic-certified input, use Soil Food. See the Plant Food guide.
Refresh - renew soil you already have
Refresh is a family of granular soil conditioners built on a Soil Food base, each sized for a job: Flower Pot, House Plant, Raised Bed, and Landscape. Work it into your existing soil or use it as a top-dress - do not plant directly into Refresh. See the Refresh line guide.
